2021 – Things I Enjoyed (to some degree)

Yesterday I listed a bunch of things about 2022 that I’m looking forward to–“shallow” things if you will, such as movies and TV shows.

Not wanting 2021 to feel left out, now we’ll also list similarly shallow things that the year gave us that I watched and mostly enjoyed. Twenty-one things specifically, in a rough countdown style…

It wasn’t that long ago that the idea of going to see a big budget Justice League would have seemed like utter nonsense.  But now we live in that word, where the number of superhero films that we have all seen is growing exponentially, and they aren’t just about Superman or Batman, but now Superman and Batman.  And their friends.

Batman v Superman – Four Friends Rant & Ruminate

When I saw Batman v. Superman a little while ago, I went with three friends who are all into films as well, and who mostly are also into comic books.  After it was over, we avoided talking about the movie until we had a chance to gather in McDonald’s over burgers, ice cream and coffee and poured out our opinions.  And for added novelty, we decided to record the whole thing on my cell phone.
