In the last two weeks, my wife and youngest daughter have been away seeing my oldest daughter as she has finished her missions training program. Then they went onto another place to see my wife’s family, including her father who is hot well. My middle (and arguably nerdiest) child has remained home with me, as she is in the midst of her Year 12 studies, which are pretty demanding and certainly require her consistent attention.
But this has opened up room for a whole lot of TV and movies.
Wow, it’s only been a week and a day since my last catch-all post like this. What’s impressive about this is that on that occasion I wrote about watching the first season of Infinity Train with my daughters. Now, just a little bit later, we have already finished watching the rest of the series–seasons two, three and four.
There have been a couple of major family events in the last couple of weeks. My wife had surgery–nothing too dire, but still something that she is not fully recovered from. And my youngest daughter is celebrating her 16th birthday!

Well, this has been a bit of a different week.
Well, it’s a crazy old life we live these days. Here in Perth, in the midst of the coronavirus crisis, we’re in a near-total lockdown–allowed to go outside for a few particular reasons but for the most part advised strongly to stay indoors. I continue to work remotely, a lot of which involves having digital meetings.
