Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor Tournament – Round Three

We are voting on  Tenth Doctor Doctor Who stories starring David Tennant, pitting them against each other in an elimination tournament, with whichever story gets at least two out of three votes from our judges will move on to the next round. The judges will be myself and two of my daughters–Johanna (15) and Laurelle (14).  The stories have been seeded according ratings on IMDb, and randomly broken up into two conferences–the Newman Conference and the Lambert Conference.

Doctor Who: Thirteen Things I’d Like to See Before I See the Thirteenth Doctor

As pretty much all Doctor Who fans know, the 10th season of the modernized show begins in just a few days.  And we also know that this is the last season to feature Peter Capaldi in the title role, the so-called “Twelfth” Doctor.  Word on the internet is that he will regenerate into his successor at the end of this year’s Christmas episode.  So, that’s a 12 regular episodes and 1 Christmas episode before we say goodbye to Capaldi’s version of the character.

So that’s led me to ponder 13 things I’d like to see in this next year of Doctor Who, before we are introduced to the 13th Doctor.

Doctor Who: The Five Companions [Big Finish]

OK, back to The Five Companions.

As I noted previously, this is “special episode” of Big Finish’s Doctor Who audio line, made available when one subscribes to 12 titles from one of their lines of stories. It’s a bit shorter than a regular Doctor Who audio – about half the length, but treated as one long episode, sans cliff hangers.
