I found myself getting curious about the various ages of different actors and creators involved with Doctor Who over the years, and so today we have a little timeline that tells us throughout the years of when people were born, when they debuted on the show, and when they died (for those no longer living).
It’s a new year for the world, and for Doctor Who. And with it, we have a New Year’s special (which won’t make it to my Australian shores until tomorrow).

It’s been several days now since The Timeless Children debuted, and with that time comes a calming of nerves and a cooling of heads. But the sad truth is that no amount of calmed nerves or cool heads will change the fact that that whatever you think of it’s “Everything you know is a lie!” reveal, the most recent season of Doctor Who has concluded with a pretty poor piece of storytelling.
And now we’re past the opening two-parter of Series 12 of Doctor Who. And the result is…okay.
Spyfall has arrived! It’s the first new episode of Doctor Who for a year, and the first two parter for even longer than that–indeed, since the end of Peter Capaldi’s last full season, when the two Masters were on screen killing each other and farewelling the character forever…right?
