Stuff I’ve Read, Watched, Done – February 20, 2022

It’s been a pretty full-on couple of weeks since the last time I wrote one of these posts. I began the online School of Communications that I am leading, with students Zooming in from the USA, Malaysia, Mexico and Zimbabwe (and sometimes the Netherlands as well). We’ve had two good weeks of teaching so far on God the Communicator and Communication Foundations.

And then whenever I was not working on the school, I was chasing a preliminary deadline for the documentary project about Sister Veronica, the elderly Aboriginal nun that I helped interview back in November and December. There is a lot more work to be done but so far I’ve managed to boil down something like 5-6 hours of interview into a 30 minute rough presentation–so that’s a good start I think.

I don’t have any pictures of any of that, though, so here is a shot of my cat lazily stalking one of my dogs!

Stuff I’ve Read, Watched, Done #12 – October 5, 2020

Another week lived, another week gone. It’s school holidays at the moment, which has meant a bit more TV with the kids!

Godzilla: King of the Monsters

Recently, I actually went to the movies twice in the same day, to see different movies.  The first and better of these movies was Toy Story 4.  The second and worst was Godzilla:  King of the Monsters, directed by Michael Dougherty…but even though it was worse, it’s the one that’s more on my mind.
