So lately I made a Youtube video, for the first time (I’ve made films before, and put them on Youtube, but I never made a video specifically to just say stuff on Youtube) in which I share my 101 Films That I Love the Most. You can see the video and read all about it here.

And as we enter into another week of the coronavirus-generated lockdown (or in my case, near-lockdown), and I’d say this is the week that TV and movie viewing has really kicked into a new gear in my family.  We’re doing lots of other things as well–including lots of working with my ministry team in Youth With A Mission Perth and trying to figure out how to move forward in light of all the necessary restrictions.

Today we are talking about Buddy Movies, my three favorite. There are some really obvious, really famous examples of this particular sub-genre, but I find there aren’t that many that I’ve loved, and most of those that I have I actually don’t remember that well. But as usual, after thinking for a bit, a few came to mind.

47 Movie Blogs #5 – Top Five (no, Six) Movie High Schools

To be clear, this doesn’t say “Top Five High School Movies”, but rather, “Movie High Schools”.  In other words, the top five high schools to appear in a movie.  This is sort of challenging because generally speaking, high schools in movies (or TV) are disasters:  terrible places full of mean-spirited pranks, slander, assault and murder.  I can’t really think of a single high school that I’ve seen in a movie that was treated as a nice place.
