Movies on a Plane: Goofy espionage, light filmmaking fantasy, arctic monsters, and romance everywhere

Hey, guess what? I went on an international flight for the first time in about three years. And that means it’s been the first time in a long time that I’ve watched a bunch of movies on a plane!

Gravity Falls

From 2012-2016, two seasons of Gravity Falls aired on the Disney Channel. For part of that time it was apparently the networks highest rated program, and remains popular with its fanbase. Part of that fanbase is my middle daughter, who recently took advantage of our extended time together alone (the rest of my family were away traveling) to introduce it to me. And now I’m part of that fanbase as well.

Mid-last year, I turned 50 years old!  And to add to all the real life goals and challenges that that brings, I’ve created at least one as it relates to movies and this blog–watch a film I’ve never seen before which came out in each year of my life (thus the “Old-New” terminology), and then write a bit about it.  This is Post #37.  Spoilers ahead.
