Time to Vote – Doctor Who Creators Hall of Fame 2022

It’s time to vote in our inductees for the 2022 Doctor Who Creators Hall of Fame.

In case you weren’t around for the nominations, the distinction of joining our locally created Hall of Fame is something that is available for anyone who has ever worked on any iteration of Doctor Who in a professional capacity–actors, writers, producers, musicians…whatever.

Time to Nominate: Doctor Who Creator Hall of Fame 2022!

Last year, we welcomed seven real-life creators into our inaugural Doctor Who Creator Hall of Fame. And now it’s time to add to that number in another round of worthy inductees.

But first we have to decide on who that’s going to be. The first step is nominations.

A week ago I asked for nominations for our Legion of Super-Heroes Creator Hall of Fame. Any real life creator of official Legion material was eligible, except for the five who were inducted in 2020.

The votes are in! Blue Towel Productions’ first ever inductees into the Doctor Who Creators Hall of Fame have been decided!

Thirty-nine nominees have given way to seven inductees, representing a range of of the series’ best known actors, producers, and writers. It’s not the exact list of people I’d have chosen if it were up to me, but that’s okay–that’s why it was a vote.

Doctor Who Creator Hall of Fame–the Nominations

For many years now, Doctor Who has been my favorite TV show. It’s been on air since 1963 and managed an impressive 26 seasons and seven lead actors before being cancelled and being confined to its so called “Wilderness Years”. But then it came back in 2005 and has knocked out another 12 seasons and multiple special since then (with another season on the way, soon-ish).
