Hey, guess what? I went on an international flight for the first time in about three years. And that means it’s been the first time in a long time that I’ve watched a bunch of movies on a plane!

I’ve recently done a trip across the world (and am still recovering from the jet lag), which means it’s time for another edition of Movies on a Plane, where I surf through Emirates @247 channels of television viewing to find the films that I’ve been curious to see, but which I didn’t want to pay for.  (I’m still waiting for GI Joe: Retaliation to show up on one of these trips.)

Gravity

Gravity is another one of those films that people will tell you that you have to watch on a big screen in order to appreciate, but which I saw on a plane recently, and yet still enjoyed.

I had gone into it with a number of misconceptions.
