A couple of months ago, I turned 50 years old!  And to add to all the real life goals and challenges that that brings, I’ve created at least one as it relates to movies and this blog–watch a film I’ve never seen before which cam out in each year of my life (thus the “Old-New” terminology), and then write a bit about it.  This is Post #11.  Spoilers ahead.

47 Movie Blogs #20 – 7 Genuinely Shocking Surprise Moments

On the surface, you’d think that this would be a similar list to the one a few days ago, about epic examples of foreshadowing and reveals in the film.  But glancing over what I wrote there, I find that not really any of those moments could be called moments of “Shocking Surprise” (maybe The Usual Suspects or The Sixth Sense).  So we’re talking about moments here that weren’t really foreshadowed, at least not in the obvious way.  Continue reading 47 Movie Blogs #20 – 7 Genuinely Shocking Surprise Moments
