Sam leaps into Darlene Monte, who is competing in the local “Miss Deep South” beauty pageant in the 1950’s. “Her” roommate is Connie Duncan, a simple girl whose life is destined to be ruined by an unscrupulous and manipulative photographer. Sam must help get back nude photographs of Connie back, whilst also making sure Darlene has the same success in the beauty pageant that she did in the original history.

Quantum Leap – Leaping in Without a Net [2.19]

Sam leaps into Victor Panzini, the son in a circus trapeze act.  Victor’s sister Eva is determined to do a dangerous stunt that her mother died attempting, a year earlier.  Sam has to make sure that it he, and not Victor’s father Lazlo, who is there to catch Eva, or she will be killed as well.  The only problem is that Sam has no experience on a trapeze and is terrified of heights.

Quantum Leap – Good Night, Dear Heart [2.17]

Sam leaps into Melvin Spooner, a mortician who also acts as the coroner in a small town in Massachusetts, who is investigating the death of a young German woman named Hilla Doehner.  Her death is apparently a suicide, but Sam comes to believe its murder and that he is there to bring her killer to justice.

Quantum Leap – Her Charm [2.15]

Sam leaps into FBI Agent Peter Langly, tasked with protecting witness Dana Berrenger from murder at the hands of a vindictive criminal. Because of suspicions that the criminal has an source inside the FBI, Sam improvises his own plan to save Dana, but the danger still persists.  Eventually, Sam and Dana realize that the traitor is actually Langly, his own host. Nonetheless, Sam is able to save Dana from both the criminal and from Langly himself.
