Doctor Who: The Tenth Doctor Tournament – Final Round

We are (finally completing the) voting on  Tenth Doctor Doctor Who stories starring David Tennant, pitting them against each other in an elimination tournament, with whichever story gets at least two out of three votes from our judges will move on to the next round. The judges will be myself and two of my daughters–Johanna (now 16–it’s taken me a while to get around to this) and Laurelle (14).  The stories have been seeded according ratings on IMDb, and randomly broken up into two conferences–the Newman Conference and the Lambert Conference.

Doctor Who: Looking Back at 47 Days #42 – TARDIS Teams

A few years ago, I did a series of 47 daily posts which all looked at different questions related to the revival series of Doctor Who, focusing on stuff I like about the show. I worked out a series of questions in advance and then picked one randomly for each day. I’ve decided to revisit the series to see how my opinions may or may not have changed, and to bring two of my daughters into the discussion, since they are both big fans and have recently finished watching the revival series.

We are ranking Tenth Doctor Doctor Who stories starring David Tennant, pitting them against each other in an elimination tournament, with whichever story gets at least two out of three votes from our judges will move on to the next round. Doctor Who: Time Reaver [Big Finish – Tenth Doctor Adventures]

Time Reaver is the second story of the first season of Big Finish’s Tenth Doctor adventures, their initial batch of episodes inspired primarily by the revival of the series.  David Tennant co-stars again with Catherine Tate as Donna Noble.  The cast also includes Terry Molloy (Davros in a couple of the old TV episodes) and Dan Starkey (Strax the Sontaran in a whole bunch of the modern series).
