A while ago (indeed, almost a whole year ago), it was my birthday! And to add to all the real life goals and challenges that that brings, I’ve created at least one as it relates to movies and this blog–watch a film I’ve never seen before which came out in each year of the fifty years before I was born, and then write a bit about it. Over a few posts, I’m going to choose a different creator or creative team–novelist, composer, scriptwriter, comic book artist, etc–who has influenced or inspired me, and in most cases brought me a lot of enjoyment.
This idea came to when when I saw a similar list recently, on another blog, identifying 25 creators who had inspired or influenced the writer. It made me think about who would be on my list. But I felt like I had more than 25 that I wanted to talk about, and so I came upon this idea.
And we continue with this series of 47 moments in film that I love. (Why 47?) I am almost not 47 anymore, so I should really get these done. This is number #43, and for this one, we’re sticking with the same film as last time–albeit at a point earlier in the movie!
