Cars [Friday Fictioneers by Johanna McClure]

Once again, it’s time for Friday Fictioneers, which provides a weekly photograph to serve as a writing prompt to create a 100 word flash fiction story. Once again, my daughter (Johanna, 16 years old) has crafted a story.

This? It’s nothing, just a human home I found. Thought it might be worth something to those weird collectors. You know the ones, they’re all obsessed with people. Of course I checked if it’s empty, what do you think I am, an idiot? I know what they did to old Sam. He found some human junk, loaded it up onto his back, and wham! Torn apart in seconds. I was careful, made sure it was clean. Now come on, I’ll split the profit if you carry it the rest of the way.
