It was my 50th birthday a few months ago, and in celebration thereof my friend Josh created a homemade escape room for me in my office. I was called in for a meeting, and as I arrived, one of our computer screens was playing with the image you see below.
The people you see are all past and present colleagues of mine. I was pretty excited to see them all gathered like that. But then things happened which I really was not expecting…
A series of fairly lengthy instructions followed, which I’ve trimmed down to the briefest excerpts. And then I’ve shared the whole thing here just because I found the beginning to incredibly clever. Obviously it turned out that none of it was live, but a clever simulation that Josh and all my other friends created together.
Pretty funny stuff, and something I wanted to pin up here for future reference.
