Late last year, before social distancing and isolation guidelines would have made this impossible, my team and I worked on a short short film called Secret Council as a learning exercise.
It’s just one scene long, and was organized and filmed in about four hours. Even the initial rough cut of the edit was done in that time, though later I went back and cleaned it up a bit.
The script was based on an issue of Bone by Jeff Smith. That initial story was called Council in the Dark, but since our version clearly didn’t take place in the dark, I changed the title. No infringement is intended, obviously.
It’s a cute diversion which should knock two minutes off of your day if you’re bored.
