In celebration of the Spoons of our life–ubiquitous but often unrecognized–Blue Towel Productions is proud to present the Daily Spoon, which we were are celebrating this September, the Month of the Spoon. #MonthoftheSpoon
As we hit double digits, we focus today on a spoon which a perfect example of the sort of spoon that I normally don’t give a second thought to, but which I’d really miss if it were gone.
Now maybe you’d argue that this is more of a small measuring cup–indeed, it even mentions something about a cup in the etching–but I think it still qualifies, with its longish handle, small scoop and overall spoon-like shape.
As you can see, this is the spoon I use to serve up my coffee, pouring a couple of heaping piles into my plunger every morning, and sometimes even more often.
And we can see clearly that it is made for coffee, and carries 7g or .25 oz in each scoop.
Here it is as part of my daily ensemble.
Thanks little spoon-cup for helping to perk up my day!
See you next time on Blue Towel Productions for more of The Daily Spoon as part of The Month of the Spoon.
