It’s been a long time coming, but finally here is The Hanna Jo Stories – episode 9. Like a lot of this series, the production schedule and storyline is influenced at least in part by the comings and goings of the actresses who have played the title character. Nadine had only recently taken the role when I found out that she was leaving Perth, and so both Episodes 8 & 9 were quickly written and recorded, more or less back-to-back.
Episode 9 ends a story arc that began way back in Episode 6, when the Fox originally took Hanna Jo prisoner. The story also marks a change in the ongoing status quo of the series, bringing Hanna Jo and her friends to a point where their lives will never be quite the same again. Have a listen to see what I mean. Because this episode was such a “big deal”, I decided to make a bit of an event of it with an odd dream sequence toward the end. That took quite a bit of work but ended up being pretty amusing.
Outtakes are coming soon, but in the meantime, here is the story.
